Empowering Community and Celebrating Identity: PROCEED Hosts Annual PRIDE Event
On June 25, PROCEED, Inc. welcomed approximately 75–80 community members to its annual PRIDE Event at the agency’s outdoor venue. The celebration promoted inclusion, connection, and health awareness through interactive activities, entertainment, food, and giveaways. A lively dance contest highlighted the event, awarding gift card incentives to three energetic participants.
The gathering offered a safe, welcoming environment for attendees to celebrate identity while linking directly to PROCEED’s essential HIVprevention, harm reduction, and supportive services. Financial support for this successful community event was provided in part by the New Jersey Department of Health Division of Syndemic & Substance Use Services (NJDOH DSSUS), Gilead, and ViiV Healthcare.
