The AETC Program is a network of training centers that provide clinical education, training, and capacity-building support to enhance and bolster the HIV workforce. It is comprised of local, regional, and national centers throughout the United States (U.S.) and its territories. The AETC Program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau and is the training arm of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP).

The NASC is one of two national centers of the AETC Program.

The NASC maintains an online library of state-of-the-science education and training materials for the AETC network and other HIV care providers. These resources – developed by the AETC Program, funders, partners, and other national programs – support the goals of the U.S. National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the End the HIV Epidemic initiative and are available for download and adaptation.
