Statewide HIV Continuing Education
HIV is a complex virus and requires continuous education on current guidelines, treatment, and management of HIV. Evidence-based information is evolving rapidly, as is HIV clinical practice. Efforts to educate healthcare providers who care for persons with HIV (PWH) must keep pace. The FXB Center is committed to supporting those efforts by offering continuing education opportunities for healthcare providers in New Jersey.

HIV Clinical Update: The New Jersey Statewide Symposium

This conference is held annually in June and brings together clinicians and other healthcare providers from around the state to discuss the current developments in HIV care and treatment. FXB Center and the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH)-Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services sponsor this event.

New Jersey Ryan White Part D HIV Case Study Day and Perinatal Update

The goal of the Ryan White Part D network is to provide comprehensive, coordinated, culturally competent services to women, infants, children, and youth who are infected or affected by HIV. This yearly program discusses issues in those populations and observations from the Part D clinics around the state. The FXB Center and NJDOH Family Centered HIV Care Network sponsor this event in collaboration with the NJDOH-Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services and the Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC).

HIV Medical Update Series

In-person or virtual presentations for this series are developed and marketed throughout the year for clinical and non-clinical providers based on needed areas of quality improvement identified by the Ryan White Part B sites and suggestions from the Medical Directors of the NJDOH-Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services and the FXB Center. The trainings address the most current information on the diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention of HIV and co-morbidities. Agencies may be eligible for on-site training. The FXB Center and the NJDOH-Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services sponsor these trainings.
