The AETC Program is a network of training centers that provide clinical education, training, and capacity-building support to enhance and bolster the HIV workforce. It is comprised of local, regional, and national centers throughout the United States (U.S.) and its territories. The AETC Program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau and is the training arm of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP).
The NASC is one of two national centers of the AETC Program.

The NASC uses a range of approaches to promote, coordinate, and disseminate AETC Program resources and services. The NASC represents the AETC Program in HIV, STI, viral hepatitis collaborative efforts with other federally funded partners.
