Research and Evaluation
Research Approach
Our growing interdisciplinary team of nursing, mental health, public health and social behavioral scientists is committed to an evolving research infrastructure supporting a range of applied research studies of rigorous design and theoretical grounding. We develop research projects that are directly informed by and address health needs of vulnerable groups, such as women, children, and racial/ethnic, gender and sexual minorities affected by profound health disparities. Our research questions arise from gaps we encounter in knowledge and practice.
